Plaster vs Pebble Pools

Plaster is being phased out here in Phoenix, Arizona. Since Covid, the manufacturers have changed their product and it comes out in a yellow color and the manufacturers won’t even warranty their product any longer. At once this was a cheaper option but a lot of installers won’t even offer it due to the warranty issues with the manufacturer.

 

 

 

Mini Pebble is the most used product for interior swimming pool surfaces in Phoenix Arizona. It can be misconstrued as the old product, which was regular pebble with much larger stones and well known for tearing up your feet. The newer product of mini pebble is a much finer material and will last 10,15 or 20 years depending on how it’s taken care. It’s a much more durable product and can be cleaned easier than plaster ever could and is much more figuring when it comes to staining.
